What a great opening day! We had a steady pace with fish coming in from all over the designated fishing area. A little under 1/3 of fish were female.

Cool in the morning but hot by late morning, we had the fish piling in by noon. The catch is still mostly males.

Monday's wind blew camp all over the place, but after we put everything back where it belonged, we had a pretty great day at the confluence. Fish came in at a steady trickle and the cooler temps meant most of them were in good shape for processing.

Slow in the morning, but the afternoon made up for it. We heard a lot of comments about natural debris in the river making it difficult to snag a fish and/or land a fish. Thanks for a great season, everyone!
